Immigration policy reflects our moral values, racial biases, economic interests, and social welfare, while also impacting our global standing.
Jonathan Blitzer’s Everyone Who is Gone is Here explores U.S. immigration policy’s history and evolution through the lives of those trapped in immigration limbo across Mexico, Central America, and the U.S. Hailed as one of the year’s best books, it is both informative and highly readable.
