Celebrate Abigails Year in Advocacy
The Abigails Advocacy Committee is excited to host the last regular Thursday program of 2023-2024 year. Please join us on May 9 at 3:30 pm, to celebrate the importance and impact of advocacy in our community.
Included in the program will be an update on our 10 Focus Areas and what the committee and our members have achieved in fostering community engagement.
We will report on the very active legislative session that ended recently. We will tell you whether the bills that we followed passed or failed and what can be done now. Finally, we will discuss advocacy efforts for next year, especially opportunities for engagement in this crucial election year.
