Tuesday April 30th - Homeless Authority Tour

Be Inspired!  Meet the team at the Chatham-Savannah Authority for the       Homeless (CSAH) and tour The Cove and Dundee Cottages tiny home communities.

We will start the morning at the DFCS Building at 761 Wheaton Street. There, we will meet up with Jen DuLong, Executive Director, and her team from CSAH. They will highlight how this coordinating and leadership body provides services to over 4,000 homeless men, women and children in Chatham County annually.

This will be followed by a tour of The Cove at Dundee, a tiny home community for veterans exiting homelessness that has helped more than 100 veterans achieve self-sufficiency. Next, we will tour Dundee Cottages, a 40-unit  tiny home neighborhood next to the Cove at Dundee, that is currently under development for families and individuals exiting homelessness.

Space is limited to 25 members of the Abigails. 
Itinerary:

• 9:00 a.m. Car Pool departs promptly from Skidaway Methodist Church 
• 9:30 a.m. Meet in the main lobby of the DFCS Building - 761 Wheaten Street.       
• 10:15 a.m. Tour of the Cove at Dundee and the Dundee Cottages on Wheaten Street
• 11:30 a.m. (approximately). Depart back to Skidaway Island
