America We Need: Nikole Hannah-Jones, who was the moving force behind the 1619 Project, has just written another important, thought provoking essay which deserves discussion. She looks at affirmative action vs color blindness and examines how the Right, under the guise of racial equality, is looking to gut educational opportunity for Blacks by not only eliminating race as a consideration in admission to our elite colleges but with attacks on Historically Black Colleges as well.
