The Skidaway Abigails are excited to present "Midterm Madness" featuring Savannah’s own Rebecca Rolfes and Margaret Coker!  These two savvy experts will take a deep dive into the Georgia campaigns and share their insights about messaging, turnout efforts, and how voters seem to be responding.  Don't miss this chance to help us sort through the chaos and decide how to target our advocacy efforts in the final weeks leading up to an election with huge consequences for us all!

Many of us know Rebecca Rolfes for her great work during her tenure as president of the League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia. She is Executive Vice President of Imagination, a custom content agency in Chicago, as well as Editor of two weekly League e-newsletters: Under the Gold Dome which is published during the legislative session, and Election Year 2022 which covers voting issues relevant to the upcoming midterms for federal and statewide offices. These publications have a circulation of about 7,000 around the state.

Margaret Coker started her two-decade career in journalism at Cox Newspapers before going to work at The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. In that time she covered stories from 32 countries on four continents and won many of America's most prestigious journalism awards for investigative, business and diplomatic reporting. She came home to Savannah in 2019 to launch The Current to revive an investigative news culture in Coastal Georgia, and to mentor a new generation of journalists in our region.
